PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas one-year certificate program will prepare you for admission to a variety of Health Sciences diploma programs. You'll take courses in biology, chemistry, applied math, communications, career readiness preparation, and general electives. You'll also benefit from the support of a pathway specialist who will help you navigate college and create a realistic action plan for the next steps in your education.

After completing this program, you'll have many pathway options at post-secondary institutions, including these programs at George Brown:

  • Practical Nursing
  • Dental Assisting
  • Orthotics/Prosthetics
  • Medical Office Administration
  • Recreation Management in Gerontology

International Tuition: $17,974.00 **

OSAP funding is available for those who meet the eligibility criteria.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, including the required courses, and any other selection criteria outlined below.

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent**
  • grade 12 English (C or U)

Mature students may take the Admissions Assessment for English OR may consider upgrading to achieve the credit(s) needed in English.
